Lee Myung Bak's Anti-Reunification Remarks Blasted

Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The National Reunification Institute issued a white paper indicting Lee Myung Bak of south Korea for his remarks escalating confrontation against reunification.
The white paper says:
In his declaration for presidential campaign Lee described the signal improvement of the north-south relations after the publication of the June 15 joint declaration as "south-north relations led by the north" and "a lost decade."
To block north-south dialogue and relations he put up all kinds of pretexts including "dismantlement of nuclear weapons", "sincerity", "maintenance of principle" and "change of north's attitude."
He made no scruple of asserting he would not "hold talks without principle", "the present south-north relations are going on its normal orbit" and he "does not care whether he will have no chance to have a summit during his tenure of office."
On June 24, 2011 he called members of the Defense Committee of the National Assembly to Chongwadae where he said he "regrets so deeply for failing to strike the north during Yonphyong Island shelling."
These are just part of his remarks carried by south Korean media.
