PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES 999 PLAYERS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj congratulated the Morin Khuur (national musical instrument) players of the "Melody of Ochirvaani" ensemble. In total 999 children, they opened Tuesday the cultural days of Zavkhan aimag by playing on the Sukhbaatar square.
The State Head has thanked them on behalf of all Mongolians, saying "it is amazing when 999 misicians play at the same time. I was satisfied with watching the very first performance of your 'Melody of Ochirvaani' ensemble in Zavkhan aimag."
A decree of previous President created an opportunity for all people, especially for kindergarten and schools children, to learn folk dance, Morin Khuur and long-song, he has said, adding that it would be wonderful if every child in Mongolia played the Morin Khuur.
