IQCO Leads Monday's Trading Value
Doha, July 04 (QNA) - Industries Qatar (IQCD) led the trading value in Monday's trading of Qatar Exchange, which closed at 8,481.68 points compared to 8,478.79 on Sunday, and gained 2.89 points (0.03%).
IQCD share price, whose products range from petrochemicals, steel to fertilizers was up 0.58% to QR 139.30 after opening at QR 138.90.
19 companies gained, 17 dropped and 4 remained unchanged from the 41 firms whose shares were traded.
Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIK) shares moved up by 1.07% to close at QR 47.30, Doha Insurance (DOHI) shares increased by 2.48% to close at QR 28.90 while Gulf International shares were up 0.85% closing at QR 29.60.
2,875 transactions were conducted. The volume of shares traded was down to 3,819,623 compared to 6,490,186 on Sunday, while the total trading value dropped to QR168,555,124.70 from QR 243,253,401.87 Sunday.
The banking and financial sector gained 8.43 points, the industrial sector rose 31.36 points. However the services sector dropped 10.15 points.
