Militants kill 3 policemen in Pakistan
Islamabad, July 4, IRNA – Suspected Taliban militants attacked a check post and killed three policemen in northwest Pakistan early Sunday, police sources and local media reported.
Another policeman was also injured during the attack in Shangla area of Swat.
The militants managed to flee after the attack.
The victims include a sub-inspector and two constables.
The police launched a search operation in Shangla and nearby areas after the attack but there had been no arrest.
Taliban militants had been active in Shangla area but they were expelled by the security forces during operation in 2009-2010./end
