Ambassador Buainain Praises HH the Heir Apparent's Visit to Egypt
Cairo, July 03 (QNA) - Permanent Representative of Qatar to the Arab League Ambassador Saleh bin Abdullah Al Buainain said last Thursday's visit of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani to Cairo came as a completion of the good results achieved by the visit of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Cairo last May
In a statement the Ambassador said the visit also came in the context of the distinguished relations between the two countries and their keenness to enhance cooperation in various fields.
He said the talks held by HH the Heir Apparent with the leaders of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces dealt with many important issues at Arab, bilateral and regional level with a special focus on economic and investment fields .
Ambassador Al-buainain meanwhile underlined the depth of the brotherly relations between Qatar and Egypt adding that the State of Qatar is keen to stand beside it during the critical stage which Egypt is passing through. He also called on Arab countries to to support Egypt.
He said both sides agreed during the talks on further cooperation in the economic and investment sectors. Within this context, the ambassador added, Qatari businessmen will visit Egypt in the next few weeks to discuss aspects of cooperation and areas of investment in Egypt.
Buainain described HH the Heir Apparent's meeting with a group of 25 January Revolution youths during the visit as reflecting the keenness of HH to listen to the youths' ideas about the future of Egypt, describing the meeting as very successful.
He added that HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani expressed his appreciation of the positive stance of the Egyptian armed forces towards the Jan 25 Revolution which helped Egypt avoid sliding into dangerous consequences.
The ambassador said the visit of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al Thani to Egypt in May which was followed by HH the Heir Apparent's trip were warmly received by the Supreme Military Council in Egypt which expressed its deep appreciation of Qatar's supportive efforts.
