Court rejects 4th bail requested by key red-shirt candidate

BANGKOK, July 2 (TNA) - Bangkok's Criminal Court rejected, again, on Saturday the latest request for temporary release on bail for Jatuporn Prompan, a red-shirt key leader and a list candidate of the Pheu Thai Party.

The court reasoned that there were no grounds for changing the earlier judicial verdict against Jatuporn, who has been charged with terrorism in connection with Thailand's bloody political unrest last year.

It was the 4th time that the Criminal Court had rejected Jatuporn's bid for release on bail to cast his ballot in the country’s general election on Sunday. (TNA)
