TS.ELBEGDORJ MEETS LITHUANIAN PRESIDENT AND PREMIER

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Thursday, the President Ts.Elbegdorj met Lithuaniaï's leader Mrs. Dalia Grybauskaite and the Prime Minister Mr. Andrius Kubilius.
The State Heads have shared views on intensifying activities of Community of Democracies (CD) as the leaders of the former and current heads of this organization.
With the Premier, the President Ts.Elbegdorj have talked about ways of developing of the Mongolia-Lithuania relations and cooperation. Mongolian leader has said Mongolia will soon sign a partnership and cooperation agreement with the European Union (EU). He has noted that Mongolia is to introduce the European standards, and said Lithuania's experience in it might be studied.
"As we think, our countries may develop a cooperation in railway sector, also there are proposals to activate the trade and economic ties, establish ties between the national chambers of commerce, make cooperation agreements, organize measures for businessmen," Ts.Elbegdorj has said. It is possible to intensify the cooperation in the education and scientific spheres by training Mongolian students in Lithuania, he said.
In turn, Mr. Kubilius has congratulated the President of Mongolia on receiving the presidency of the CD. Hew has said that fully supports the State Head's proposals about development of the relations.
Ts.Elbegdorj has invited the Lithuanian President and Premier to Mongolia.
