MAYOR RECEIVES AMBASSADOR OF SINGAPORE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, G.Monkhbayar received representatives, led by a Ambassador of Singapore to Republic of Korea, Lau Sien Heng June 28.
They have talked about the Tuul and Selbe rivers and green zones.
The Mayor has said research works have been completed conducted to seek ways of protecting these rivers, increasing their flow, and impriving fresh water supply. "To do these works, an investment of 10-15 million US dollars is needed," he said.
In response, the Ambassador has said his country has several agencies and ministries who are in charge of re-establishing production, increasing green gardens, rehabilitating drinking water. "So we can cooperate if the UB city if it tells us in which namely directions it want specialists study our experience," he said.
The sides also have exchanged opinions on attracting investments and creating business environment.
