JUDOISTS WIN MEDALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian judoists have showed a brilliant success in World Cup competitions that ran June 25-26 in Sro Paulo, Brazil.
S.Nyam-Ochir (men's 73 kg) and Ts.Monkhzaya (women's 63 kg) have won gold medals. A State Honored Sportsman Kh.Tsagaanbaatar has grabbed a silver in the men's 73 kg weight category, and G.Boldbaatar--a bronze medal in the men's 60 kg contest. An international master of sports S.Miaragchaa has taken the 5th place in the men's 66 kg category. The final contest of men's 73 kg has run between Kh.Tsagaanbaatar and S.Nyam-Ochir, and the latter has defeated his countryman at the additional time.
Meanwhile, other Mongolians have won medals in the East Asian Championships held in Hong Kong. A.Davaanyam has grabbed a silver in the men's +100 kg category. Bronze medals have been won by B.Khishigbayar (men's 66 kg), M.Dashnyam (men's 73 kg), D.Bat-Erdene (men's 81 kg), B.Janchivdorj (men's 90 kg), T.Amarjargal (women's 52 kg), B.Sainbuyan (women's 63 kg) and B.Monkhtuya (women's +78 kg).
