PRESIDENT STARTS STATE VISIT TO UKRAINE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A state visit to Ukraine of the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and his spouse Kh.Bolormaa started Sunday in Lviv (Lvov) city.
The State Head and accompanying him officials have been welcomed by Viktor Maiko, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; M.I.Kuchuk, a head of Kiev city State Administration; Yu.V.Kostenko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Mongolia; K.O. Tretyak, head of the inter-parliamentary cooperation at Ukraine's parliament; and others.
On the first day of the visit, the President will leg the Land Forces Military Academy to meet cadets and teachers. After this, a director of the Academy Lieutenant-General P.P. Tkachuk will hold a banquet honouring the President and his spouse.
A governor of Lviv M.Tsymbalyuk will be received by the President.
The State Head is accompanied by G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; L.Bold, the Defense Minister and head of the Mongolian side of the Mongolia-Ukraine inter-governmental commission; T.Badamjunai, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry; Ts.Davaasuren MP; L.Purevsuren, an advisor to the President; First Commissioner Ts.Amgalanbayar, head of the National Emergency Management Agency; and others.
