Thailand's ruling party implementing new vote campaign strategy

BANGKOK, June 25 (TNA) - The ruling Democrat Party of Thai caretaker Abhisit Vejjajiva is implementing a new vote campaign strategy by distributing leaflets containing its messages to the Thai electorate, just days before the country's July 3 general election.

When distributing the leaflets for the first time on Friday, the Democrat Party said that the move is aimed to keep Thai voters informed of facts after the party's big electoral campaign rally at Ratchaprasong Intersection in the heart of Bangkok on June 23.

Abhisit noted that the leaflets would also help the Thai electorate to see their choices of national future clearly.

The Thai caretaker premier led other Democrats and MPs to campaign for votes in Seri Thai and Klong Sam Wa areas in Bangkok on Saturday, insisting that his Democrat Party was ready to continue solving national problems if it was re-elected to head the Thai government for the second term in the July 3 national poll.
