Former SA chief justice Len King dies
SYDNEY (AAP) - June 24 - The South Australian legal fraternity has paid tribute to former chief justice Len King.
The SA Courts Administration Authority said the 86-year-old died peacefully on Thursday.
South Australian Supreme Court Chief Justice John Doyle said Mr King, his predecessor, was an "outstanding" lawyer.
"The judiciary of South Australia and the staff of the Courts Administration Authority are saddened by (the) news," he said in a statement on Friday.
"He was a man of dedication and vision who made significant contributions to the community in South Australia throughout his long and distinguished career, in war-time military service, as state Attorney-General and as seventh chief justice of South Australia."
