Gul Welcomes HH the Emir's Visit to Turkey

Doha (QNA) - Turkish President Abdullah Gul has welcomed HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani 's official visit to Turkey due on Friday.
Speaking to Qatari daily " Al-Sharq" on Thursday, Gul said the Qatari-Turkish summit will discuss bilateral ties between the two countries and means of enhancing them besides the latest regional and international developments.
The Turkish President underlined the 'excellent' bilateral ties, noting the 'approximation' between the two countries' foreign policies on regional and international issues. He also highlighted the ongoing bilateral cooperation and dialogue.
In this context, President Gul highly evaluated Qatar's 'prominent' role in the international and regional levels. On economic and trade relations, he stressed his country's keenness to establish 'high level' economic ties with GCC member states, including the State of Qatar.
Turkey aims to achieve 'strategic relationship' with its GCC partners, he went on saying.
President Gul said Turkey, which enjoys a 'very strong' investment environment, provides numerous investment incentives.
