CABINET WORKS DONE IN MAY


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A report on the cabinet's works in May has been given at the cabinet meeting by Ch.Khurelbaatar, a head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government.
Last month, the cabinet met seven times discussing 59 issues and getting acquainted with 29. Four issues have been submitted to the initiators, two will be consulted with Standing committees, another two will be submitted to the President, four issues have been postponed for introducing to the National Security Council, and five will be re-discussed.
According to the report, the cabinet approved charter of the Development Bank and its structure and management. The Human Development Fund has accumulated MNT 146.6 billion by the execution of April of 2011 with an overfulfillment by 49.2 per cent or MNT 48.3 billion.
The cabinet had parliament approved the law on health, and discussed a draft parliamentary resolution on issuing stocks to support the sector of small- and middle-sized productions of cashmere, camel and sheep wool. The cabinet had a Standing committee and parliamentary session to back a draft law on establishing an exchange of livestock raw materials.
Other biggest works were negotiations with advisory companies to draw up an engineering design for a 4,200 km auto road, and reducing of the excise tax imposed on oil products.
