PSO recognizes NGOs
Karachi, June 23, 2011 (PPI): Pakistan State Oil, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility commitment, organized a function at their head office to distribute cheques to a number of NGOs.
The function was well organized and attended by the representatives of the organizations supported by Pakistan State Oil for their welfare activities.
The NGOs representatives were very appreciative of Pakistan State Oil help for the disadvantaged sections of society. The cheques were distributed by Mr. Jahangir Ali, Managing Director, Pakistan State Oil, to the representation of NGOs.
Helpline Trust’s concern and services was also recognized and appreciated at the cheque distribution ceremony and was given a cheque to install road safety reflectors at various road dividers, roundabouts and traffic lights placed in the centre of the roads.
These reflectors will assist in preventing accidents, a free flow of traffic and save precious lives.
Helpline Trust appreciated the positive approach of PSO and stated that they will continue, to the best of its ability, to improve the quality of life of the citizens.
