WINTER PREPARATION TO BE INTENSIFIED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The government issued a resolution on ensuring the winter preparation of animal husbandry for 2011-2012 and intensifying periodic works.
Related obligations have been given to T.Badamjunai, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, to governors of aimags and soums, and City Mayor.
They will ensure the winter preparation by accumulating power of herdsmen and livestock owners and will have local authorities and officials put control over this campaign.
They have been ordered to fix a volume of hay and fodder to be reserved by aimags, soums and the city's districts for using in disaster times, involve all types of livestock in vaccination, repair fences and water supply devices, create new water resources for pastures, and to make meat reserve for the next year's spring.
