Justice Minister, British ambassador discuss the Justice ministry needs
Minister of Justice Hasan Al Shimmary discussed with British ambassador to Iraq Michael Aron today the ministry’s needs to get technologies to its work and train its staff on the new technology.
Media office of the ministry quoted the minister as saying “the infrastructure of most prisons are old and do not have the control technology to close the main gates and halls.”
It continued as saying “the work is ongoing on new prisons in Babylon and Nasiriya provinces and to redesign Abu Gharib prison to increase their capacity.”
For his part, the British ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to train the ministry’s staff and provide assistance to the ministry in different levels.
