Minor dies, seven sustain injuries as coach overturns
A minor died and seven others got injured as a passenger coach turned turtle in Landhi in the limits of Sharafi Goth Police Station on Wednesday, police and rescue sources said.
A duty officer at the station said the incident occurred near Feature Morr (turning) in Landhi area when a coach bearing registration number PE-5414 overturned due to reckless driving. Resultantly a minor died on the spot and seven others including women received injuries. The driver and conductor of the coach fled.
The body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment. Identity of the victim could not be ascertained
