New French envoy submits copy of credentials to Salehi
Tehran, June 22, IRNA -- New French ambassador to Tehran Bruno Foucher on Tuesday submitted a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi.
According to the Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the meeting, Salehi congratulated the new ambassador and hoped to witness expansion of relations between both countries during his mission in Iran.
Both nations with glorious past have enjoyed very deep-rooted ties, Salehi said.
The new French ambassador Foucher for his part conveyed the warm greetings of the French foreign minister to Salehi and said ties between both sides are very profound./end
