Kuwaiti Group expresses desire to build palm farm, concrete industries plant in Basra
Basra (NINA) - Kuwaiti investment group expressed its desire to invest in Basra through participation in a number of quality investment opportunities in the province, including the establishment of a model dates palm farm.
A source in Basra Investment Commission told NINA "a delegation from (Bukhamseen) Group offered designs to build a farm, and a concrete industries plant under world-class standards that suits Basra atmosphere, as well as building a five stars hotel on the Shatt Al Arab banks."
He added "the BIC called on the Kuwaiti group to invest tourism opportunities offered in the sports city as well as in Al Mirbad Hotel on Shatt Al Arab, investment in tourism to build a theme park with 300 acres adjacent to the sports city which includes building a big funfair, exhibitions, hotels, restaurants and other tourist facilities.” /End/
