Al-Ateyyah receives letter from Yemeni minister

Riyadh, September 10, SPA -- Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Ateyyah,
Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), has received
a letter from Yemen's Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr. Yahya
Al-Mutwakel dealing with measures of Yemen's accession to the GCC
Standards Organization and full membership to the Gulf Organization
for Industrial Consultations according to the Memorandum of
Understanding signed last August.

The letter also dealt with the legal procedures needed to benefit
from the capabilities of the GCC Patent Bureau upon resolutions
issued by the 108th session of the GCC ministerial council in Jeddah
early this month.
