S.LAMBAA RECEIVES WHO REPRESENTATIVES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Health Minister, S.Lambaa met a director in charge of finance of Asian western Pacific region of the World health organization /WHO/, Jeffrey Combs, also a director in charge of Health sectors development of the WHO Dr. Henk Bekedam, and a group leader in charge of health finance of WHO Dr. D.Bayarsaikhan June 15.
The Minister has thanked the visitors for arriving here to get au fait with Mongolia's health sphere activity. Then the sides exchanged views on present situation of projects and programmes being co-implemented by WHO and Mongolia's Government, and on Mongolian health system's finance.
S.Lambaa has thanked that Mongolia's health finance system's reform has been supported by WHO. He added "Result of this visit, works will be implemented to conduct with WHO and Asian western Pacific region, to be effective.
Before a meeting on introducing result of research themed “Health expense of family's finance risk”, “Institutional issues of health finance problems”, they have met S.Lambaa, exchanged present situation of projects, programmes, implemented by WHO to Mongolia, collaboration, Mongolia's health systems finance.
S.Lambaa has thanked for assisting Mongolia in the health finance system's reform, and said that this visit will result in more effectiveness of the works that will berealizerd through WHO's Asian western Pacific region.
Then a meeting took place to present outcomes of researches themed "Health expense possible to put family's finance at risk", "Institutional issues facing health finance".
