Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A ceremony has run in the Blair House, Washington to sign documents during the official visit of the Mongolian President to the USA.
A memorandum on the trade and economic cooperation has been inked by G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and by Gary F.Locke, the U.S Secretary of Commerce; a mutual-understanding memorandum on improving capability of Mongolian airtransport and on developing the Mongolia-USA civil aviation cooperation--by Ts.Orkhon, a director-general of the Mongolian Airlines (MIAT), and by Leocadia I. Zak, a Director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. The MIAT's director-general, and Stanley Roth, the vice-president of the Boeing Company, have signed a contract on purchasing Boeing airplanes. In addition, a cooperation memorandum in civil aviation organizations has been signed by S.Batmonkh, a head of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and by Michael P.Huerta, a deputy administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
