French insurer helps build classroom for poor children in Ha Long
Hanoi (VNA) - A classroom for poor children built with funding from the French insurance group Prevoir was inaugurated in Hung Thang ward, Ha Long city, on September 10.
This is the second time Prevoir donates money to build classrooms for poor children in Quang Ninh. The group gave 7,000 USD also to Hung Thang ward.
The classroom was built at a cost of 250 million VND under the programme on
construction of classrooms and kindergartens for children in disadvantaged
areas of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children.
The programme has been carried out since 1997 and has so far built 262
classrooms and two schools worth 17 billion VND for over 25,000 poor
