Iraqiya says that statements made by its leaders represent all members

Iraqiya Slate asserted that statements made by its leaders represent all its members.
A statement read by Iraqiya official, Saleh al-Mutlaq, in a press conference held on Thursday, June 16, attended by number of Iraqiya Slate, including Tariq al-Hashimi, pointed out that Iraqiya is holding together and united in a firm stand in face of those who suspect its unity.
The statement asserted, “Iraqiya stresses a number of important principles to make the political process successful, including supporting demonstrators and their legitimate demands.”
It added, “Among other basics that must be committed to is for security agencies to abide by the principles of human rights and deal in good manner with demonstrators.”
It pointed out, “The necessity to warn security agencies from what has happened last Friday against demonstrators.”
The statement stressed the necessity to realize the concepts of national partnership, calling on the State of Law to be committed to the principles of national partnership and what has been agreed on in Erbil
