Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqi Vice-President, Adel Abdul Mehdi, discussed with the American ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffery, and the American forces chief in Iraq. Gen. Lloyd Austin, the recent developments in political and security scenes.

A presidential statement mentioned that Abdul Mehdi also discussed current negotiations about the security agreement signed between Iraq and the US which covers the US forces withdrawal from Iraq by end of this year.
