S. Korean cargo ship seized in Somalia
SEOUL, Sept. 10 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean cargo ship was seized and its crew kidnapped on Wednesday by pirates off the coast of Somalia, diplomatic sources said.
The vessel, carrying nine South Korean crew members, was captured at around 4 p.m. (Seoul time), the sources said.
They declined to reveal how many foreigners were aboard the ship and whether negotiations with the kidnappers were under way for their release.
