PRESIDENT ALIYEV RECEIVES CREDENTIALS OF CUBAN AMBASSADOR

Baku,10 September,(AzerTAj)President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today received credentials of the Cuban newly appointed Ambassador to the country Marcelo Caballero Torres.
After the President and Ambassador were taken their photos in memory, Head of the
Azerbaijan State noted good potential to enhance bilateral relations between
Azerbaijan and Cuba, stressing the importance of functioning of the Cuban diplomatic
mission in the capital of Azerbaijan. President Aliyev wished success to the
Ambassador in his activity and expressed confidence for further strengthening of
bilateral ties.
Mr. Marcelo Caballero Torres said it was great responsibility for him to represent
Cuba in Azerbaijan as the first ambassador of his country and he would rely on
support of the Azerbaijan government and the country’s President to expand the
relations between the two countries.
