IED against American security firm in Nasiriya
An improvised explosive device went off north of Nasiriya, Thi-Qar province, against a convoy belonging to a security firm belonging to the American forces.
Security source said on Tuesday, June 14, "Anti armories improvised explosive device went off against a convoy of a security firm belonging to the American forces, while passing on the main road, northern Nasiriya, nor losses suffered."
He pointed out that police surrounded the area in anticipation that more IEDs are in the vicinity.
Meanwhile, police deactivated a 10 kg improvised explosive device, containing C-4 explosives, emplaced on the main Rifa'e-Diwaniya road.
