Nijaifi congratulates Turkey's PM, Speaker on their party's election victory

Baghdad (NINA) – Speaker of Parliament, Usama al-Nijaifi, congratulated Turkey's Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the victory achieved by his party, (Justice and Development) in Sunday's general election.

In his cable of congratulations, Nijaifi expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the representative of the Iraqis on the big victory achieved by Erdoğan's party, Justice and Development Party in the general election conducted on Sunday.

He expressed hope that Erdoğan's new term will witness a bright phase added to the Iraqi-Turkish friendly relations.

In his cable to the Speaker of Turkey's Parlaiment, Mohammed Ali Shaheen, Speaker Nijaifi expressed congratulations on behalf of Iraq's law makers on the victory realized by the Turkish Justice and Development Party, wishing him success in his task for the good of Turkey's people and to more fruitful relations between Iraq and Turkey. / End.
