Nujeifi, US ambassador discuss developments on Iraqi, regional arena
Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqi Parliament Speaker, Osama Al Nujeifi, discussed today bilateral relations with the American ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffery, and Gen. Lloyd Austin, commander of US forces in Iraq.
A statement issued by Nujeifi’s office mentioned that “the two sides discussed the situation in Iraq and the recent developments, as well as the regional status quo under the light of the recent developments.”
