Talabani, Sadrists' delegation discuss efforts to find suitable solutions to critical issues

Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani discussed at noon Saturday, June 11, with a delegation representing the Sadrist Trend, headed by Karar al-Khafaji and Baha' al-Araji, to find suitable solutions and acceptable to all political blocs for critical issues.

A statement issued by the President's Office said that in the meeting, "Talabani stressed the necessity to go ahead in moving the political process forward and up root obstacles hindering it."

It pointed out, "Members of the Sadrist delegation stressed the importance to keep up contacts between the Sadrist Trend and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) toward bridging differences between various political blocs."

The statement touched on, "The meeting discussed a number of points of view aiming to establish suitable ground toward finding solutions to critical issues and implement agreement concluded between forces concerned wit the political process.
