Al Ani confirms: Allawi's speech yesterday represents the IS view
Baghdad (NINA) – Leader in the Iraqiya Slate and head of the coordination committee, Dhafer Al Ani, said the address of Dr. Iyad Allawi yesterday represents the IS view, and expresses a collective decision.
He told NINA "the IS which suspended negotiations with the State of Law Coalition recently was aware that the Dawa Party is trying, by all illegal means to evade from the implementation of the commitments that it has committed to in the agreement to the formation of the government, and it is targeting the national project of IS through targeting its leader in a desperate attempt to test the coherence of the existing leadership and the cohesion of its entities."
He stressed "the IS declares that targeting Allawi is targeting all of the IS and the IS standing with him is a moral, patriotic duty, and a political commitment. It also confirms that it is ready to face up to those who prey on the troubled waters and will base in that on its audiences, which believes in the IS and its political program."
