Araji: the security situation still fragile, corruption spread in security systems

Baghdad (NINA) – Member of the Security and Defense Committee, Qasim Al Araji, stressed that “the security status is still fragile and the security systems are still in need for training and cleansing from incompetent members.”

In a press statement, Araji added “the security systems are still incapable of bringing competent members that could occupy important posts, not to mention the spread of financial and admin corruption spreading in these systems.”

“The security leaders that are in charge of the security systems failed in their missions an were sacked, but, they were given other important jobs,” he went on saying.

Araji called on the Prime Minister, Maliki, as the later is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces to carry out real changes and to grant the important posts to competent figures to improve security.
