Allawi accuses leader of Dawa Party of lying, depending on foreigners to remain in power


Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of Iraqiya Slate, Iyad Allawi, accused the leader of Dawa Party of lying, hypocrisy, fabricating accusation and relying on the foreigners to stay in power.

In an address to the Iraqi people on Friday, June 10, Allawi said, "The oppressors have exceeded all lines and values, divine and man made, they abused the country and spread evil, they subdued the people and insulted the nation's dignity; they adopted the road of suppression, killing, the ugly political sectarianism and blundered, burned, destroyed and insulted Iraq."

Allawi added, "The bats of darkness, led by Dawa Party and handful of its men worked toward fabricating accusations based on lies, hypocrisy and deception against us; they lied a number of times accusing us of preparing a coup and lied to our people with regards to 100 days."

He pointed out, "The head of Dawa Party has forgets that he has been ruling Iraq for five years, and wants to make others accountable for one hundred days, he forgets that he does not have a program for his government and did not discuss a program with his cabinet or Parliament making it judge of his and his cabinet's performance, he forgets that he is still Minister of Defence, Interior and National Security, as well as Director on Intelligence; he depended on Iran's support to become Prime Minister."

Allawi went of saying, "The international community bears the responsibility of protecting Iraq from the interference of Iran and to guarantee balancing the political process that has lost its balance so he can remain in power; he and his men are responsible of all what is happening in Iraq."

He continued, "Before God I promise not to let Iraqi youth along in facing who wants to create new dictatorship.

Allawi concluded, "The head of Dawa Party is before a historic era and hard judgment, it is him not his ministers or his party or his bloc, he is the one who orders gangsters to do what he wants." / End.
