IPO website up-gradation process accelerated to facilitate visitors

Islamabad, June 09, 2011 (PPI): The process of up-dating the website of Intellectual Property Organization (IPO-Pakistan) has been accelerated to enable the visitors about getting firsthand knowledge and information of the Trade Mark, Copyright and Patent registration requirements and all the other related documentations so that they could avail the facilities provided on web and initiate the procedure of applying for registration of their concerned intellectual rights and also interact with the relevant offices to get a prompt reply.

This was stated by the Director Administration and Human Resource IPO-Pakistan Mr. Meesaq Arif in a meeting held here on Thursday to review the progress of website up gradation task. The heads of various sections of IPO-Pakistan including Director Finance Inam ul Haq, Deputy Directors Syed Nasrullah, Hamid Javaid Awan, Ch. Asfand Ali, Assistant Directors Kashif Latif Malik, Nasir M. Zahid, Aamar Latif, Umme Salma, Humaira Shakeel, Asif Iqbal and DDO Mr. Abdul Hafeez attended the meeting.

Mr. Meesaq Arif said that according to the directives of Chairman IPO-Pakistan Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi, the work for automation of all possible procedures of IPO is in progress and the official website of the organization is being up graded according to the aspirations of stakeholders and clients. He said the relevant information about the procedures and working of IPO is being incorporated in the web with the objective to enable the visitors fully conversant about the required information and data.

The heads of different sections gave their suggestions in the light of quarries being made by the partners and individual applicants to make the website more attractive, informative and self-explanatory for all those who intend to get benefit from the services of IPO-Pakistan.

Meesaq Arif said that this step has been adopted to provide prompt and efficient services to the all concerns who don’t know much about the services of IPO and in order to save their time in collecting required information from different quarters and efforts are being made to provide all relevant information on website of IPO.
