CABINET APPROVES SPECIAL USAGE AREA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In accordance with a decision made by the cabinet on Wednesday, some 264 thousand hectares have been taken for special usage. The boundaries have been approved as well.
In this area, due to an implementation of the "Oyu tolgoi" project in Omnogobi aimag's Khankhongor, Bayan-Ovoo, Khanbogd, Manlai and Tsogttsetsii soums, a construstion will run of infrastructure buildings, roads, water pipes, electric lines and communication stations. People and entities, whose property is on the special usage area, will get compensations from the "Oyu tolgoi" company for having their ownership changed.
A general plan will be worked out for constructing these infrastructure buildings, roads and so on, and the locallty's plan of land organization will be changed. The Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development Kh.Battulga and a governor of Omnogobi aimag B.Badraa are to submit a report to the cabinet on results of the works.
