Yemen's accession to WTO discussed in Geneva

GENEVA, Sep. 09 (Saba) - Yemen and World Trade Organization (WTO)
discussed here on Tuesday steps of Yemen's accession to the WTO and
ways of activating them.

The Yemeni Permanent representative to the UN Organizations at the
European headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, Ibrahim al-Adoufi
handed over to the Director General of WTO Pascal Lamy a letter from
the Prime Minister Ali Mujawar on Yemen's accession to WTO.

For his part, Lamy affirmed his interest to support Yemen's efforts
in this regard and to keep on the organization's technical support
in the coming months.
