Pakistan Navy Ship PNS Babur to call on Jeddah Port
Jeddah, June 08, 2011 (PPI): Pakistan Navy ship PNS Babur, one of most potent of Pakistan Naval Fleet will call on Jeddah Islamic Port June 18-21 as part of a combined training and goodwill mission. It will also hold a naval exercise with Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Arab News reported.
Captain Azhar Naeem of Pakistan Navy will pay courtesy call on dignitaries of Royal Saudi Naval Forces, including Western Fleet Commander & Commander of RSNF Base in Jeddah. Visiting crew of ship will tour various institutes of RSNF.
PNS Babur will be open to Pakistani community on June 20. It is equipped with state-of-art Combat Management System, torpedoes, missiles and can facilitate helicopter takeoff and landing.
