PRESIDENT GIVES ORDERS TO MINISTERS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj convened Wednesday some cabinet members and other officials to give them obligations.
He wants them to intensify the outcome of the visit he paid officially to the Russian Federation (RF).
The State Head has said this visit has been vital for the both sides in terms of reaching an objective understanding and bringing the bilateral relations and cooperation into a newer level.
He has said the sides reached many agreements such as updating the 1949 Treaty on Railways at meetings with the Russian President D.Medvedev and the Prime Minister V.Putin, “except two issues”, obliging transport Minister Kh.Battulga to run negotiations with the Russians on these two.
An order has been given to the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to pay attention to facilitating the trade of some products. Then he has underlined an importance of the Russians' decision to supply livestock vaccines, and ordered T.Badamjunai to study ways of selling meat and meat products to the Russian market.
The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy has been told to carefully discuss at the cabinet an issue of providing the specific part of the domestic needs in oil products and to submit it to the National Security Council (NSC).
D.Zorigt and S.Enkhbat have been ordered to work on mineral resources issues, including Tavantolgoi coal deposit, and to take into account under a united policy the Russians' interest.
Present at the meeting were N.Altankhuyag, the First Deputy Premier; T.Badamjunai, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry; Kh.Battulga, the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development; D.Zorigt, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy; S.Enkhbat, head of the Nuclear Energy Authority; D.Tsogtbaatar, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and O.Enkhtor, director of the Foreign Ministry's Department of Neighbor Countries.
