NSW Greens councillor on bond for cannabis
SYDNEY (AAP) - A Sydney Greens councillor has been placed on an 18-month good behaviour bond for cannabis offences.
Leichhardt councillor Alan Cinis, a television actor who has appeared in Blue Heelers and Home and Away, was put on the bond in Balmain Local Court on Wednesday.
The 50-year-old pleaded guilty to possessing 40 grams of cannabis leaf and to cultivating six prohibited plants.
Two other charges against him were withdrawn.
