Barazani, Allawi discuss implementing political agreements, finalizing security ministries, SPC
Erbil (NINA) – Head of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani exchanged on Tuesday, June 7, with Leader of Iraqiya Slate, Iyad Allawi, points of view over latest developments in Iraq.
A statement by Barazani's Office said that in the meeting they stressed unifying efforts toward reaching agreement between various political sides and implementing political agreements, as well as finalizing security ministries and forming the Supreme Council for Political Strategies to enable the government provide services, as well as security and stability through out the country.
The statement quoted Allawi stressing the necessity for Barazani to continue his role toward bringing points of view between political forces close together.
