There is no threat of Sokolnki park fire spreading--RME

MOSCOW, June 7 (Itar-Tass) - Sawn-off trees are on fire in Sokolniki
Park in Moscow's east, Yevgeny Bobylev, press service chief of the Moscow
Department of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (RME), has told
Itar-Tass. He emphasized that there is no threat of the fire's spreading.
"The burning trees are surrounded by a concrete fence," Bobylev said.
He specified that 16 firefighting teams are at work at the scene of the
incident.
The RME official pointed out that a message about a fire breaking out
in the park's Sixth Radial Path reached the Fire Department at 20:33 on
Monday.
At the same time, sources in law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass
that the fire had broken out behind the park's rose garden.
