PRESIDENTS MEETS SAINT PETERSBURG GOVERNOR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames the official visit, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj has met with Mrs. Valentina Matviyenko, the governor of Saint Petersburg city.
The State Head has underlined that his visit is not an accidental one, for Mongolia wants to study in Petersburg all related to it valuable creations, findings and exhibits, show them to Mongolians, and to exchange scientists and scholars. “The State of Mongolia intends to persistently support a studying and saving of rare valuables of the Mongolian history,” he has stressed.
Ts.Elbegdorj has expressed a satisfaction with keeping of the bilateral cooperation in the educational sector, noting there is a need to prepare energy, machines and mechanism industries experts.
In response, Mrs. Matviyenko has thanked the President for visiting their city, and appreciated his proposal to cooperate in education, history and sciences. She has said she wants to establish a partnership and cooperation agreement between the two cities. Then Mrs. Matviyenko has sounded a proposal to host a business forum in Saint Petersburg to establish business ties between the cities.
