Kim Jong Il Enjoys Art Performance Given by Builders

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, enjoyed a performance given by the art group of the builders for overseas projects.
Its repertoire included narration and chorus "May of Victory", dance with drums and song "Thunder over Jong Il Peak", comic story "Let's Live Highly Civilized Life" and chorus "May Pyongyang Be in Peace."
Kim Jong Il said that all the numbers put on the stage fully reflected the unshakable faith, revolutionary optimism and transparent spiritual world of the Korean workers to firmly adhere to the class principle without vacillation despite any storm and stress and take the lead in advancing the socialist cause of Juche.
He highly praised the art group members for having staged a splendid performance which is replete with the spirit of the times and truthfully reflects their life and extended thanks to them on behalf of the WPK Central Committee.
It was our working class that took the lead in the fierce class struggle for protecting the dignity of the country and the nation and it was again our working class that performed epoch-making miracles and feats by displaying matchless devotion and popular heroism in the building of a new society and socialist construction, he noted, calling upon the working class to play a pioneer's role in creating new culture required by the era of Songun, too.
