Fire at building material marketplace in Moscow region localized

MOSCOW, June 6 (Itar-Tass) -- A major fire that broke out in a hangar
at the building material marketplace in the Moscow regional town of Khimki
was localized, a deputy chief press officer of the Moscow regional
emergencies department Mikhail Mironov told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
A fire alarm call came at 8.58 p.m. Moscow time on Sunday about a
major fire that broke out in a building material marketplace, which is
situated on the 79th kilometers of the Moscow Ring Road in the Moscow
regional town of Khimki. The fire sparked up in a metallic hangar, where
the carpets were stocked. The fire spread on 200 square meters.
"The fire was localized at 00.38 Moscow time on Monday. The firemen
keep pouring water on a smoldering stockhouse," Mironov said. He added
that no injured people were reported.
