PRESS GROUP HOLDS ITS FIRST MEETING
Baku,9 September,(AzerTAj)The first meeting of the 16-member press group under the Central Election Commission took place September 8. The group includes four CEC members, 5 journalists from TV channels, 4 from news agencies and 3 from newspapers.
CEC member Azer Tagiyev was elected head of the press group.
The press group was set up to make media outlets comply with the rules of election
campaign. The group will immediately respond to any law violation during the
campaign.
The election campaign will start 28 days before the voting.
