Court: Commission on Abbottabad challenged in LHC
LAHORE, June 02, 2011 (PPI): The commission to investigate the May 2 US operation in Abbottabad for killing the Osama Bin Laden has challenged in Lahore High Court here on Thursday.
Rana Ilamud Din Ghazi advocate of Lahore High Court said in his petition that government has not made consultation with leader of opposition in National Assembly and government nominated the likeminded persons in the said commission. The government wants results according to its will and commission could not probe the actual facts about US operation in Abbottabad, the petitioner added.
He also demanded to dissolve the said commission. After receiving the petition the court would now appoint a judge to listen the petition, sources added.
