RF-French commission to discuss European missile defence, Arab world

MOSCOW, June 2 (Itar-Tass) --The Big Russian-French
inter-parliamentary commission will convene for the 16th meeting on
Thursday, June 2.
The commission plans to discuss political changes in the Arab world,
the missile defence system in Europe, and Russian-French trade and
economic cooperation, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Foreign
Affairs Committee Leonid Slutsky told Itar-Tass.
"At the level of inter-parliamentary diplomacy we plan to inform our
French colleagues of Russia's concerns over all sensitive international
political issues within the framework of the meeting's agenda," he said.
State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov will open the meeting.
