SPA - Having reviewed the study on the phenomenon of mountain slides in Jazan Region submitted by the Minister of Interior, the Cabinet
approved a number of measures including:

1- Allocating SR 213563920 for urgent solutions to the phenomenon of
mountain slides in Jazan Region.
2- Authorizing the Ministry of Transport to study the establishment
of two roads in Jazan Region from the south to the north and from the
east to the west.
3- Authorizing the Saudi Geological Survey in cooperation with King
Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology to study the phenomenon of
mountain slides in Jazan Region and propose solutions for such
phenomenon in coordination with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and
Antiquities.
